Here we will show how to remember the values of sine and cosine using your left hand (lefties can use their right hand). First, stretch the fingers of your left hand and notice how they make the first quadrant.

Then you number your fingers 0 through 4. How? There is a simple trick to remember this: The graph of sine starts at the origin and goes up, here we will also start down (with the little finger) and go up.

Now to find the sine of an angle, look at the corresponding finger, take a root of its number and divide it by two.

As you can see, it works.

To get cosine, we have to number the fingers in the opposite way, start with the thumb (0) and end with 4 at the little finger. After all, the graph of cosine starts up and goes down, too, so this is easy to remember. The cosine of an angle is now done in exactly the same way.
