Installation Instructions

For system requirements and more detailed information, refer to the full installation guide.

1. On Windows 2000 and Windows NT, log on as administrator, or have administrator privileges
2. If you are installing the network version, you should stop the license manager daemons.
3. Uninstall your currently installed copy of Maple 6. Your license files will not be removed by the uninstaller. Do NOT manually delete your license files, as you will need them to run Maple 6.02.
4. Close all open applications, particularly Excel 2000.
5. Run the installer file from the folder into which you downloaded it
   • For single user installations, run Maple6Installer.exe
   • For network installations, run Maple6NetworkInstaller.exe
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Maple 6
